Here we are well into our new year, I can't believe we are half-way through February already. Personally, I have had a few ruts in my road that have slowed me down a bit, but I have dealt with them and can move on now. I think you all have been there ;) So, now that I am back in the swing of things we can get this year going!!!
This blog will be dedicated to introducing you to our newest products added to our list of beautiful soap bars. We have two new blends and are so excited to share them with you! Our first new blend is a twist on our Milk+Silk+Vanilla. We have taken this bar and added a few different ingredients to make a new scent, our Mexican Hot Chocolate bar! Growing up in Southern California and now living in the Southern desert of Arizona (by the way one of the most arid parts of Arizona!) Mexican/Hispanic food is everywhere, I mean everywhere. And, this is not recent. I remember as a nine and ten year growing up in San Diego it was a part of everyday life. So, last year after getting a few requests for a vanilla bar I stepped up and created the Milk+Silk+Vanilla bar. It has a lux lather created by the cocoa butter, goat's milk and silk protein. So for our January winter, which has started off cold and wet, yeah, I decided on putting a twist in this new bar and added kokum butter and Ceylon cinnamon to create the Mexican Hot Chocolate blend. I have been getting solid good reviews on this bar and have already sold quite a few. This bar is available now on the website and another batch will not be available until Fall of 2024! Get them while you can!
Our next new blend is the Celtic Mist. This new bar is a tallow bar and if you have never tried a tallow bar you are in for a treat! Tallow is the perfect oil to add for a moisture loving bar, aged or dry skin will absolutely love this bar! In our neck of the woods (aka: desert) this is so important! We want as little moisture drawn from our skin as possible during our cleansing. The other oils added to the base are coconut, palm, sunflower and castor. To give this beautiful bar a fresh and invigorating scent we used the essential oil blend of bergamot, lemon, eucalyptus, lavender and thuja (cedar leaf) and a hint of oakmoss fragrance. We swirled French green clay and mica throughout, oh how lovely! Both of these bars are pictured along with the other bars that will become available in the coming weeks. These will be Just For Me, Smokin Good Soap, Aloe & Alfalfa, Arizona Orange Blossom, Japanese Cherry Blossom and Lavender & Lemongrass.
