As promised here are the different gift baskets, boxes and pails we will be offering at our future markets. We have now included a crate box that has six bars of soap with a tie and tag for $30.00! You choose from soaps we have available and we pack them in a crate for gift giving. If you are interested in one of these and want to choose the bars you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will have the box ready for you to purchase at any of the upcoming markets. Also check out the new crates with a cow, pumpkin or apple label on them, they are just too cute! The pails, crates and boxes will have two bars of soap, a soap net and a ribbon with a gift tag. All ready to give for just $22.00! And, remember the Campbell's Restaurant Farmers Market will be this Saturday the 3rd. They have moved the location across the street from the restaurant, so keep a look out for that change. Hope to see you all there!
Yes, we will soon have our holiday gift baskets available! Pictured here is an example of a few that will be offered at our up and coming markets. Soaps shown with these are the seasonal Peppermint and Vanilla, Festive Eggnog, Hunter/Fisherman's Soap and our market available only Berry, Berry Frost. We make these "blue" pine boxes ourselves. These two will be available at the local American Legion Post #54 Hoedown on Saturday November 3rd from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. They will have a steak or chicken dinner, a raffle (that is where you can win our gift baskets that the Coolidge Lions Club donated!) and games and music. Some of these boxes will have a wooden handle and others will be without a handle. They are approximately 7.5 x 6 inches and will contain two bars of soap and a Soap Net. We will have ceramic soap dishes and beeswax candles available later in November that can be added instead of the Soap Net. Also we have on order and should receive next week crates with a cow, pumpkin or apple design on them and they are similar in size as our pine boxes. They will come wrapped with a tag for gift giving and per request we can custom fill with your choice of soaps available and color choice. We will also have a few galvanized buckets with chalk board writing area on the front. All holiday baskets will be $22.00. The supply will be limited on these. When they are gone, they are gone. First opportunity to see and buy these will be at the Campbell's Farmers Market in Peoria on Saturday November 3rd, 2018. So, hope to see you there!
Just got back from Munds Park, Arizona for a quick weekend visit. So I took advantage of the beautiful fall scenery to photograph our new holiday soap blends. I LOVE northern Arizona to do this, especially this time of the year! All the gorgeous reds, oranges and yellows stand out against the beautiful blue skies and the stately greens of the conifers. What is not to love! So check out these beauties below, some we have changed a little from last year, so let us know what you think of them.
Also, we are going to be at the Casa Grande Elks Lodge for their Craft Market on Saturday October 27th. It starts at 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. If any of you are in or near Casa Grande come on by and say "hello" we would love to see you! Since our market at the Avocado Nursery was cancelled at the beginning of this month and if any of you wanted to see any of our products or smell them this would be a perfect opportunity to check them out. We will have some of our new blends and a few of our old favorites as well. Hope to see you there!
I would also like to let you know we are also going to post a blog on the Peppermint & Vanilla, Frosted Evergreen and the gift baskets soon. I have been a little busy trying to play catch up and am a little behind on my posts. But I will be doing it real soon, thank you all for being patient!
Soaps clockwise from top: Hunter/Fisherman's Soap, Berry, Berry Frost, Hunter/Fisherman's Soap and Festive Eggnog.
We will be at the Avocado Nursery's Creative Market this Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. This is one of our local markets that we attend so all you locals come out and support these fine people and vendors! The weather should be more enjoyable than the last one, I think it was about 104 degrees last time, so if you are in the area please stop by! There are some really neat vendors at this market and of course everything that is available at the nursery also. They have such a great variety of plants to chose from. So come on out!
On another note, we just finished making our new batches of Festive Eggnog and Hunter's Soap for our holiday blends. So next week we will blog each of these and post a showcase of them. They turned out beautiful and we can't wait to share them with you! So, be on the look out!
We are just so excited to be at this farmers market! It is located at 9098 W Pinnacle Peak Road in Peoria. It will be from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday October 6th. It should be a beautiful day! We are looking forward to seeing what all the other vendors are offering and meeting all of you! Hope to see you there!
As promised we are showcasing another one of our seasonal scented soaps. This one is our Old Fashioned Oatmeal. We recently changed back to our blend that included a vanilla creme fragrance oil. This oil is phthalate free and has a very creamy vanilla scent which pairs perfectly with our cinnamon, nutmeg and clove essential oils that make this such a wonderful fall scented soap. It has a goat's milk base and gluten-free oatmeal as a mild exfoliant. This has been a customer favorite from our beginning. So, come on down and check it out at this weekends Campbell's Farmers Market!
October is already on the horizon, can you believe our holidays are fast approaching? Are you ready? We have been busy creating our holiday inspired blends and this will be the first of our blogs showcasing those bars. We are starting with the Orange & Clove. This silky lathering soap has the sweet scent of orange along with the deep, spicy scent of clove. Such a beautiful blend to start the season with. This soap makes a wonderful gift addition to a custom basket or placed in a kitchen or bath for holiday entertaining. There are only essential oils in this soap to scent it, it does not contain man-made fragrance oils. As always our soaps are cold process and retain all naturally occurring glycerin. Doing cold process helps us control the type and freshness of the oils going into the base. So check out this and our other seasonal scented soaps available. So, keep calm these next few months and soap on!
Our next announcement is our acceptance to the Campbell's Restaurant Farmer's Market located at 9098 W Pinnacle Peak Road, Peoria. We are so excited to be at this location! We had a very sweet customer tell us about this market and we are so happy she did! Thank you Stacie :) The next one is on October 6th and we hope to see you all here. You will want to check out their menu at the restaurant it looks absolutely fabulous! So come on down and check out the restaurant and the local Arizona vendors!
Introducing our new soap blend Honeysuckle and Calendula! This soap has a sweet and floral scent and we added it to the same moisture promoting oils that we use in our Mango Bliss. We top the bar with a little gold and copper swirl for added beauty. The olive oil used in the base is infused with calendula petals. Calendula has been known for its anti-inflammatory and wound healing benefits, so what a perfect pairing with the butters shea and mango! A perfect gift for the floral scent lover in your life, it may even be you! These bars will be available October 11th for purchase and also at the next Creative Market on October 13th.
We are now in the process of making new batches of our holiday blends. We will post them in the coming weeks with a re-introduction of them. Some of them have been reformulated and redesigned so if you would let us know what you think by leaving a comment when we do our individual blog for each one, we would love to hear your thoughts.
We would like to also take this moment to give a big thanks to our friend Dianne that we met while doing our Pinewood Farmers Market as well as Lisa and Mary Ellen the coordinators of the event. Dianne came to our booth every single weekend and brightened our day! And she gave us a little advice on our Old Fashioned Oatmeal, and your advice turned out to be a winner! Hope to see you next year lady!
To Lisa and Mary Ellen, I just want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to be apart of this fantastic community market. All the vendors were so helpful and friendly, you felt like you were part of a family. We are truly grateful.
We are so excited for the cooler temps and the upcoming holidays and of course our personal favorite, Christmas! In November we will post our new gift baskets and our new web specials, including Black Friday savings! So keep an eye out for these and other announcements right here on Soap Talk!
