I have been making body butters for a while now, but never added them to the online store until this year. The reason is that our state of Arizona has some extreme weather, and of course it is heat. Whipped butters, balms and oils are really nice to use but they melt and become liquid easily in hot temps. So, I never really felt comfortable offering them for online purchase. These are going to be a seasonal offering, I will have them available online from October until the first week in May. During our hottest months there will be no stock listed for purchase.

I have three whipped products: whipped body butter, whole body whipped oil and whipped tallow balm. They all have different ingredients for different individuals preferences.

I will start with my body butters, since they are the most popular. Ingredients in my body butters include shea & mango butter, oils of coconut, jojoba, meadowfoam & castor. Of course we add scent in the form of essential oils and natural fragrance oils along with horsetail extract which promotes healing of skin, hair and nails, and then grapefruit seed extract for a natural preservative. The grapefruit seed extract is used in all these products as a natural preservative, although they should be used up within 3 months of purchase.

The Whipped Whole Body oil is a little different from the body butters as it has cocoa & kokum butters and is lighter because of the increased amount of liquid oils. I only have one scent for this product, Beach Breeze. The scent is very light and pleasing, it does not have a heavy lasting scent so it can be used on the face, hands or feet. This would also be good for young people as the scent is an essential oil blend, nothing chemical.

Last is the Tallow Balm, I have scented (essential oil blend) and unscented with local orange blossom honey. The Tallow Balm craze peaked earlier this year and now the market is flooded! I have used different tallow for making this and have decided to stick with Thousand Hills, some brands can have an off scent but theirs is pretty mild. My Tallow Balm is made with grass fed tallow, local olive oil and meadowfoam oil.

I would love to hear what you all think or if you have any questions I would love to answer them!
